You can configure an IMAP Kerio account in the Microsoft Outlook client.
1. Go to the Windows Control Panel.
2. On the "Control Panel" window change the view to Small Icons to see all the options and then click on Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016).
3. Click New to start configuring an email account via IMAP.
4. Select Manual setup or additional server types, and click Next.
5. Choose POP or IMAP and click Next.
6. Enter the user, server, and login information.
7. If you want Outlook to remember your password, check the Remember password option.
8. Click More Settings.
9. In the Outgoing Server tab, check the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication option.
10. Choose the option Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
11. In the Advanced tab, make sure you have the following details configured:
- Incoming server port: 993
- Outgoing server port: 465
- Check the boxes for encrypted connection SSL/TLS
12. Click Next, and Outlook will test your settings are correct. If everything is OK, it shows you two verifications completed.
13. Click the Close button. The new account will show under the Email tab.
14. Verify if the account is displaying in Outlook’s left panel. You will also see the automatic messages here that were sent during the testing phase.
