Activating eM Client

This guide will walk you through the process of requesting and activating your eM Client license. Any registered domain can request up to three free licenses. Important: Only domain administrators can request these licenses.

1. Requesting Your License Code

First, log in to Webmail at connect.vboxx.nl.

After logging in, go to Domain Marketplace > eM Client > Request Code.

Once you've done this,You will receive a code in the mailbox of the account from which you requested it. Copy this code, then repeat the steps above and paste the code when prompted.

After verifying the code, a new window will appear asking for your organization name, full name, email address, and other required details.

2. Activating Your Domain License

Click on More again and go to Domain Settings → eM Client → Activate.

Here you will find another activation code—this is the one needed to activate the eM Client application itself.

Steps in the eM Client Application

After installing eM Client, open the app and go to:
Mac: Help > License (top-left menu bar)
Windows: Menu > Help > License

Click Activate and paste the activation code you retrieved earlier. After activation, the application will guide you through several setup steps.

Account Setup

You will first be asked to enter the email address you want to use. (You can add more accounts later.)
Click Start.

Next, enter your name and account name.

Encryption Setup

You can choose whether to enable end-to-end encryption. This ensures only you and your recipients can read your messages. You may also skip this and continue without encryption.

Final Settings

Choose your avatar and the services you want to enable in eM Client, then click Finish to start using the application.
