Troubleshooting Issues with Antivirus


In some instances, you might notice a disruption to the desktop client sync process when specific antivirus solutions are installed.

Troubleshooting Issues with Trend Micro 

The Trend Micro Behavior Monitoring feature can sometimes block the desktop client sync process. To resolve this issue,  add the following Desktop Client services to the Trend Micro Behavior Monitoring exclusion list:

  • agent_service.exe
  • agent_gui.exe

Troubleshooting Issues with Bitdefender

Bitdefender may stop the vBoxx Sync Tool from downloading files, it can also lead to collisions that can't be solved.

Solution: Exclude the vBoxx Sync Folder and the services associated with the sync tool in Bitdefender.
