VBoxxVault Organisation Settings

Add Members to Organization

To ensure the security of your organization, vBoxxVault employs a 3-step process for onboarding a new member: Invite > Accept > Confirm.

Invite

To invite a user to your organization, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your web vault and open your organization.
  2. Open the Members tab and select the + Invite Member button:

    ?cmd=root&action=download&type=downloads&id=1021

  3. In the Invite User window:
    1. Enter the Email Address where new users should receive invitations. You can add up to twenty users at once by separating email addresses with commas.
    2. Select the Member Role to be applied to new users. The member role determines the permissions these users have at the organization level.
    3. Under the Collections tab, you can adjust the user's permissions. Additionally, you can select a collection to which the user will be added.
  4. Click Save to invite the specified users to your organization.

Invitations expire after five days. At that point, the user needs to be re-invited. Re-invite users in bulk by selecting each user and using the : Options menu to resend invitations:

?cmd=root&action=download&type=downloads&id=1022

Accept

Invited users receive an email from Bitwarden inviting them to join the organization. Clicking the link in the email redirects them to a Bitwarden client invitation window. Log in with an existing vBoxxVault account or create an account to accept the invitation. Upon accepting the invitation, you'll receive a notification confirming access to the organization:

?cmd=root&action=download&type=downloads&id=1023

Confirm

Confirm accepted invitations to your organization:

  1. Log in to your web vault and open your organization.
  2. Open the Members tab.
  3. Select any accepted users and use the : Options menu to Confirm Selection:

?cmd=root&action=download&type=downloads&id=1024

Delete User

Remove users from your organization:

  1. Log in to your web vault and open your organization.
  2. Open the Members tab.
  3. Select the users you want to remove from the organization and use the : Options menu to Delete:

?cmd=root&action=download&type=downloads&id=1025

Revoke Access

Instead of completely removing members, you can temporarily revoke access to your organization and vault items. Revoke access:

  1. Log in to your web vault and open your organization.
  2. Open the Members tab.
  3. Select the members for whom you want to revoke access and use the : Options menu, then Revoke Access.

?cmd=root&action=download&type=downloads&id=1026

Check User's 2FA Status

The 2FA status of users can be viewed from the organization management page. On the Members tab, owners and administrators can see which users have two-step login enabled. If the user has a lock icon, two-step login is enabled on their vBoxxVault account.

?cmd=root&action=download&type=downloads&id=1028
