VBoxxConnect Notifications

vBoxxConnect - Notifications

We understand that most vBoxxConnect users don't spend 100% of their day working in the webmail interface. To accommodate this, vBoxxConnect uses browser notifications to alert users to standard activities within their account. For example, when browser notifications are enabled, and you are logged into the vBoxxConnect web interface, you will receive a pop-up notification at the bottom of your screen when a message is delivered to your inbox, a calendar reminder is triggered, or a team chat message is received. Simply click on the browser notification to open your new message, go to the live chat, join an online meeting, or open your calendar appointment, regardless of the browser you are using or the application you are currently in.

Note: If you are using a new browser or have not previously set notification permissions, you will be prompted to allow this functionality when a new message is delivered to your inbox, a calendar reminder is triggered, or a chat message is received. Keep in mind that if you clear your browser cookies, vBoxxConnect will ask for this permission again.

Appointment reminder notifications sent when the vBoxxConnect web interface is not open are sent to the notifications window. These are accessible through the notification icon in the top right corner of the interface.

You can also choose which alerts you want to receive; calendar reminders, chat messages, new emails. You can do this by navigating to Settings > Account > Notifications.

Unlock Notifications

If "Browser notifications have been disabled in this browser." is displayed in the Notifications field, you need to unblock browser notifications for the vBoxxConnect site to enable or disable specific alerts.

Rejecting the Notification

If you want to dismiss the toast notification "Browser notifications have been disabled," simply click on the Dismiss button. This will prevent it from being displayed until you clear your browser cache or delete cookies in your browser.
