Mailbox Migration

Mailbox Migration is a simple way to transfer emails, contacts, calendars, tasks, and agendas from another mail server or service to vBoxxConnect. Follow the steps below to migrate data from a mail server:

1. Log in to connect.vboxx.nl and navigate to More > Settings > Connectivity > Mailbox Migration.
2. Click on Migrate
3. Now you will see several different options. Choose for Microsoft Exchange.

After choosing Microsoft Exchange, you will see the following options:

• Items to Import - Here you can select what you want to migrate to vBoxxConnect: Email, Contacts, Notes, Calendars, Tasks, or all. In some cases, you may not be able to choose because the provider makes the choice for you. These options may not be available when migrating from certain email servers.
• Server Address - This is the URL you use to log in to the mail server or the address of the mail server you use when connecting to an email client. For example, mail.your-domain.com.
• Email Address - The full email address you want to migrate, for example, person@mail.com.
• Password - The password used to log in to the account you want to migrate.
• Require SSL - Choose this option to require a secure login.
• Delete existing vBoxxConnect mailbox items - Enabling this will overwrite all existing vBoxxConnect data with the migrated data. This includes all contacts, calendar data, etc. If this is NOT enabled, the migrated data will be "merged" with any existing data, and nothing will be overwritten.
