vBoxxConnect - Calendar Settings
Through the settings in vBoxxConnect, you can make certain changes to the Calendar. You can customize which days will be visible, adjust the working hours, and more. You can set this up by logging into connect.vboxx.nl and navigating to More > Settings > Calendar Settings. Below is an overview of the specific settings you can configure.
Options
Under the "options" field, several adjustments are possible:
- Display weekends - Select this option to show weekends in your calendar.
- Display task start times in the calendar view - Select this option to display the date and time when a task is scheduled to start according to the calendar.
- Display task due times in the calendar view - Select this option to view the date and time when a task is due in the calendar.
- Hide completed tasks - Select this option to remove completed tasks from the calendar view.
- Default Duration - The default amount of time assigned to a new event or appointment. By default, this is 1 hour.
- Default Reminder - The default time assigned at the beginning of an appointment or event that will trigger a reminder notification for users. By default, this is 5 minutes.
- First Day of Week - The day set as the default starting day of the calendar. By default, this is Sunday.
Calendar Auto-Clean
With this option, users can prevent old calendar events from cluttering their view. Typically, system and/or domain administrators set this option for all domain users, but users can also take control of the automatic auto-clean settings. You can do this by turning on the Override auto-clean settings button. Then, select Calendar Auto-Clean Months and choose the number of months to be retained.
Business Hours
With this option, users can choose which hours are displayed on which days in the Calendar. For example, if you usually schedule appointments from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, you can configure the business hours to match those times so that vBoxxConnect can automatically scroll your calendar view to those hours. You can configure each day of the week to allow flexibility in your scheduling.
